This was a very hands-on project, with me deconstructing and reconstructing the draft Lynne presented. The process started with me reading the full draft, then creating a mind map to capture her ideas and how we were going to step them out for the reader. This is a great way for me to ensure that I have fully understood what the writer is wanting to convey, and that we both agree with how it will be said. We then worked chapter by chapter with a combination of existing and new material to get it ready for a copy editor.
